Prayer at the Beginning of Holy Week

Heavenly Father, as I step into this Holy Week, I quiet my heart before you. Let me not rush past these sacred days, but instead, walk closely with Jesus - through His triumph, His suffering, and His sacrifice. Open my eyes to see the depth of His love, the weight of His obedience, and the victory of His resurrection.

Lord, prepare my heart to receive the fullness of this week’s meaning. Help me to lay down distractions, to surrender my burdens, and to reflect deeply on the cross. May I walk in humility, gratitude, and awe, knowing that Your mercy has made a way for me.

Jesus, You are my Redeemer, my Hope, my King. I follow You now, through sorrow and joy, through the cross and the empty tomb.

AMEN.
