CHILI and CORNBREAD Supper for the Needy Thursday, February 3, 2023 From 5:00—6:30 PM On Thursday, February 2nd, from 5 to 6:30 pm, there will be a chili and cornbread meal served to the homeless in our Fellowship Hall. Sign-up sheets have been passed around by the Junior Ushers for volunteers to help, make cornbread, bring bottled water and drinks, or for cleanup after. Chad Ponder from Carlisle and Whitmire UMC churches will be here to provide clothing, accessories, toiletries, etc. from his homeless ministry.
This is a ministry in conjunction with C4 ministries as we try to address the needs of our homeless population here in Union *Those volunteering to help will need to be here early. Chad Ponder will give us advice on how to interact with the homeless at 4:45 PM.
